I know it has been a while since I last posted stuff on my blog, but I promise you I have not forgotten about it. As a matter of fact, the reason for my inactivity is that I have been doing things to try and make this blog more interactive. Let me tell you some of the things I have been working on.
Music Sites Need Music
Okay. So if you have visited my about page, you know that I have dedicated this teenie-weenie corner of Blogger to music, movies and inspirational. However, I have come to realize that just writing music and movie analyses make this site so, so dry. So I have been touring the wonderful world wide web to find aspiring artists who would willingly allow me to host their music on my blog. If I like their music, I email them for permission and put it on. Easy and respectful. That way, instead of me flapping my gums about music that I view as cool for studying, sports, meditation, etc. I will let you, the viewers, sample the songs yourselves and tell me what all of you think. If you like them, you can keep the songs playing while you read some of my other posts or play some stimulating mind games (I hope I can get the games up before Christmas).
However, I need a player to actually play these songs. Which brings me to obstacle "numero dos" ("number two: for non-Spanish speakers)! I have viewed some of the players available online. Quite frankly, they do not fit my specifications. A lot of them have some very droll skins and do not have the necessary functions to do what I want them to do (which is expected when looking for FREE stuff). So I have decided to create my own music player.
Forums Help Us Website Designers
There is nothing that says, "I care" than a forum. Forums allow us designers interact with some of the frequent visitors of our sites. And seeing how I am sort of a late bloomer when it comes to the internet, I am probably going to need a lot of feedback from other people. So I want to kick off a forum open to all who visit the "Modern Youth."
There you have it! I have a lot on my plate, but not too much that I'm drowning in it. Come back for more updates.
