Tribute to Chris "Mac Daddy" Kelly

This is probably the first time I have ever written an article paying tribute to someone who has passed. However, this person's music touched me when I was growing up in the 90's. This person, formally known as Mac Daddy of the rap duo Kris Kross, is Chris Kelly. For some of you who do not know Kris Kross, you can now find information about the group littered all over the web. However, I will give you a personal recap of who this group was. This was one of the few rap groups to put its name on a child show and make it sound awesome. This was one of the few rap groups comprised of kids capable of making adults, like
Shawn Wayans and Jennifer Lopez, jump for joy (Living Colors anyone?). I did not realize it at the time because I was too young, but this group affected me in more ways than one. So I am just giving back by sharing some of the works that Kris Kross made, including the well-known Rugrats Rap.
