Happy New Year from EBG!

We are approaching the New Year (some of you are already there) and I would like to extend New Year's greetings to all of the visitors of The Modern Youth. I hope the past year has been fruitful, happy and productive. I know mine has.

When I decided to start this blog a year or so ago, I did not know how my opinions would be received by the cyber community. Now I can say with certainty that I am glad I did. Through this blog, I have met other bloggers and viewers, outside of the cyber-verse, who share my passion in movies and music. I do not always agree with their opinions but the conversations are always insightful.

I would also wish to extend my condolences to those who have lost a loved one or got laid off this past year. Life can be brutal sometimes, but we must always remember that there have been others in this world who have experienced the same thing. Many of them rose above the occasion and turned their situation into a positive. I hope you can, in time, do the same. Remember that there is always a place here if you find yourself needing something to smile about.

As for the future of The Modern Youth, I will keep on writing about issues concerning movies and music in hope of starting a dialogue. For as long as there are people willing to read my posts, I will continue to write them.
