Mixing "Fun" Pop with Old School Funk and Conga

Maybe I am imagining things, but this song by Pitbull featuring Chris Brown has that Miami Sound Machine feel to it.
What I mean is "Fun" has that old-school conga vibe that, if you have a vivid enough imagination, sends your soul to the beaches of Miami, Florida. It is a very fun song to listen to--no pun intended.

I admit, I am not that enthusiastic about the lyrics. However, the vocals and beats are really catchy. I am so happy that Chris Brown agreed to collaborate with Pitbull on this song, because he sounds like he is really in his element. The first time Chris Brown came to the scene, he had the air of a young Michael Jackson. This song seems to have returned him to that point in his life before all that madness. So great job with the song, Chris and Pitbull! I cannot imagine anybody being able to keep still when hearing this song. In the very least, it will have any listener tapping his/her feet.
