Did you miss me? I missed all of you.
Honestly, these past few weeks have been crazy intense. From continuously-changing projects to crunch-time exams, I have had my fair share of sleepless nights to last me a lifetime. What an exhilarating feeling it is to finally stretch my wings and actually look up at the sky for a change. Dirt can entertain a man for so long.
It's torture to keep up with the latest news pouring from the entertainment cosmos and not have enough time to write about what is out there...and so much has happened! From technological advances in the music industry to photo glimpses of the newest movies ready to hit theaters next year, I can only try to cover as much ground as I can in these next couple of months while still bringing in the newest, most enlightening and motivational pieces of news, movies and music out there.
Before officially kicking off the summer season, I wish to congratulate all the new graduates of Spring 2015! Honestly, whenever I think of graduation I get giddy. Why? Because somewhere in the world, a parent is breaking family tradition by being the first to attain a degree that will affect the lives of his or her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A man and woman will walk down the stage on graduation day and change the lives of tens to tens of thousands of people in five years time. A once good-for-nothing person will trade his or her title for one of immeasurable worth by taking those first few steps to independence. It truly is something to revel in. On top of that, the connections these graduates have made during their tenure as students will likely define their levels of successes in the coming years. In short, the world becomes a lot bigger outside of college and the rewards and punishments become much more valuable.
