Another Independence Day passes and another weekend comes to a close. There is much to be thankful for in terms of what has been accomplished this past week.
For one, the ladies on the football field representing the red, white and blue were victorious in clinching the U.S.A's third championship. Congratulations Team America for winning the Women's FIFA World Cup Finals! In addition, the Supreme Court rulings on some key legislation has opened the door to more opportunities for millions of Americans.
However, my takeaway from this eventful week is that success does not come overnight. In all the events that took place this week, every single one of them occurred because of the hard-work of hundreds, thousands...even millions of people. It takes courage to stand up for what you believe in. It takes even more courage to do that in the face of adversity. Obviously, it is easier to shout with a crowd of millions than it is with a crowd of hundreds. So I want to extend the spirit of Independence Day, and the resilience of the millions of Americans who fought to make America what it is today, to individuals all around the world who are working against great resistance and adversity. May your peaceful protests and hard-work pave the way to a better future for everyone in your nation.
Remember, you are the architect of your own destiny. Do not let adversity prevent you from achieving your goal. No matter how long it takes, stick to your goal, work hard and you will get there. Now enjoy "Ain't In My Way" by Lusive. Click, comment, like and share.
