Kung Fu Panda 3: Po's Daddy Revealed?

It's official...Kung Fu Panda is coming out with a 3rd installment.
The theatrical release date is set for January 2016, and it is anticipated to bring some strong earnings (the first two movies each mustered over half a billion dollars in worldwide sales) for DreamWorks Animation Inc..

However, it is not only the potential earnings that seem promising. Along with the reprisal of the original cast:

Jack Black (as Po),
Angelina Jolie (as Tigress),
Jackie Chan (as Monkey),
Seth Rogen (as Mantis),
Lucy Liu (as Viper),
Dustin Hoffman (as Master Shifu),
James Hong (as Mr. Ping) and
David Cross (as Crane)

The movie has a new, more personal story line where our beloved Dragon Warrior comes face to face with his father (played by Bryan Cranston), according to the released trailer:

However, let me ask this question: Can we say for certain that the panda gorging on the bowl of dumplings is actually Po's dad? I mean, maybe all pandas in the Kung Fu Panda universe have an insatiable appetite. Up to this point, we have been introduced to one panda and that's Po. At the same time, this mystery panda does have many of the forehead-smacking traits that Po possesses and it would be rude to deny the similarities. However, for all we know, this could be Po's uncle or a friend of Po's dad. Until the official movie (or a more telling trailer), we can only wait to see the test results. Mr. Panda, you are..........
