This morning, CNN News reported the passing of one of the most iconic men in Rock.
David Bowie died today from his 18-month battle with cancer. As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, "...Bowie died peacefully today surrounded by his family after a courageous 18-month battle with cancer." The singer died 3 days after his birthday.
Though the news is sad, there is a bright side that we should all acknowledge. One of the world's most beloved artists was able to give us 45+ years of quality music, welcome in 2016, celebrate his birthday with the ones that he loves and leave behind one final album for the world to enjoy (the album is called Blackstar, by the way). Given all those things, I believe he deserves a day of remembrance. Don't you?
