Coldplay Adventure of A Lifetime MV Is Freaking Awesome!

When I heard "Adventure of A Lifetime" by Coldplay, I immediately fell in love with it.
The way that "Adventure of A Lifetime" makes me feel is difficult to describe. It is like I am totally unrestricted. It is as if I am suspended in air while everything else whizzes past me. There is no sadness or despair. It is like I could do anything. However when I saw the music video, I knew that I could do anything.

When I watched the music video, it took me by complete surprise. I did not expect the members of Coldplay to take the path they did. Seeing a bunch of monkeys dance like human beings was so odd. A good kind of odd though. The animation went a little past conventional CG because the interaction between the monkeys and the environment was so realistic. I could not help but think of Avatar (the one with the giant, blue aliens).

I think the music video used the same animation techniques, which speaks volumes to how far the entertainment industry has gone with CG animation. I look forward to seeing more music videos like this. Maybe if we are lucky, another artist will try to mimic this music video, but with dancing hippos instead of dancing monkeys. :)
