Running to California and Back!

Long Beach is so beautiful in the fall!
As I rest my head on the shores of Long Beach, allowing the sand to nip at the end of my toes, I can't help but wonder how it would feel like to be a beach. A piece of land where little vegetation grows, yet it sits right next to a body of water. No one expects it to do anything more than be a beach. People stroll across it every day with their friends, significant others, kids and pets. Honestly, I don't think it cares if people stroll on it or not. All it does is sit there watching the tide dance up and down while the sun disappears and reappears beyond the horizon. The epitome of care-free.

.......Yeah. I'll pass. I don't mind lazing around for a couple of centuries, but I'd get bored out of my mind after a while. I wonder if the beach wonders how it feels to be human? Lol! Let that thought sit in your noggin for a bit while I invade your ears with a song called "Run" by this indie group called COIN. Enjoy!
