The Force Be With You, Carrie Fisher: Passed at 60

Fate has the final say.

I cannot believe Carrie Fisher is gone. I, along with many Star Wars fans, thought the worst was over when reports revealed that Ms. Fisher’s condition was stable. I guess Fate had one more card to play.

She did not leave empty-handed though. She brought into the world Billie Catherine Lourd, who is becoming an accomplished actress in her own right. In addition, she commanded a well-rounded career as a screenwriter, producer, author and speaker. You can view more about Ms. Fisher on her official page. Finally, she gave all of us her witty sense of humor on and off camera and gave all Star Wars fans a reason to look forward to Star Wars Episodes IV, V and VI. Even while struggling with drug addiction and bipolar disorder, she continued living her life to the fullest. Sexy, smart and inspiring, Carrie Fisher was one in a million. Ms. Fisher, you will forever be remembered as our Princess. May the Force be with you, and to all who had the chance to know you.
