Oh Wonder: A Life After Life

What is all this talk about life after death? We have yet to achieve a life after life.

When we are at our lowest, or at our highest points in life, we tend to settle for complacency. We adopt the belief that there is nothing more to learn and that we cannot surpass the current situation we are in. We accept the barriers in front of us and stop pushing forward. Then someone, who we never consider as a major contributor to our lives, emerges and shakes us spiritually to where we are able to walk through these barriers. On the other side, we witness the room we still have left to grow and the potential we still have to improve our lives and the lives of those around us. That is when we ascend above the textbook version of life to a state of spiritual freedom, a state of inspiration. In short, an “ultra-life.”

So thank you ambassadors of inspiration, as well as the benders of barriers. With the positive energy, empathy and balancing of pragmatism and optimism you exercise every day, you compel us to assume this mindset of possibility. In turn, we are inspired to become ambassadors of inspiration and benders of barriers for others. Thus, the chain of progress continues through the past, the present and into the future.

To commemorate you, here is a song called “Ultralife” by a group who has touched countless lives with their positive message. This group is called Oh Wonder and I hope you enjoy their song. As always, see you next time……

    1. Haha! Thank you so much. Many blessing to you too.

I can't complain. If you learn one or two good things from here, that is just as sweet a victory as making you smile when you're having a tough day.

Also, it's all good. Whether you visit everyday, every week, every month, or every blue moon, your visit is a blessing, especially when you take the time to comment because it is the honest and thoughtful opinions of you and others like you that drive dialogue. We all have lives outside of the internet (well, at least the majority of us do). So I don't expect any kind of commitment from my readers.

Just grab a coffee, and look around. The day is full of rushing and deadlines. Think of this site as a place where you can relax and get away from all that.
